[DEV] Developer's Note (July)

Hello, this is development team for DESPERADO B218. 

Today we would like to share with you the details of the upcoming contents in July for DESPERADO B218.

July Update Preview

New Story Chapter

In the July update, we are leaving the area of the last chapter, Lenombe, and introducing a new story set in a new region.

We are preparing [CHAPTER 03 - Suspicious Gathering], [CHAPTER 04 - Hateful Mask], [CHAPTER 05 - Person's Mind], and [CHAPTER 06 - War in Republic] updates and we hope you'll be able to enjoy them.

Path of Trials

In the July update, we will also be introducing "Path of Trials," where users can challenge bosses they faced in the main story again. Since the bosses in "Path of Trials" are more powerful than their main story counterparts, this challenging experience will require more careful consideration of team composition and hero development.

New Challenge, "Zebenstunier"

Alongside the July update, we are planning to add [Zebenstunier], PVP exclusive to Journey through Memory Lane, similar to DESPERADO B218's Death+Paradox, where users can compete against each other.

Zebenstunier features a reward system where users can earn rewards based on their weekly rankings. We encourage all users to participate actively.

 New Dispatch Content

 To enable the use of more heroes, we are preparing to introduce new dispatch content, [Treasure Hunting] and [Ruin Exploration], as part of the dispatch system that was updated in June. Similar to previous dispatch content, users will be able to dispatch heroes for a specified duration to earn various rewards. We encourage users to make full use of this.

Hero Recruitment: Premium Recruitment

Next, we are adding [Premium Recruitment], which will allow users to acquire even more heroes.

In Premium Recruitment, users will need to spend a certain amount of Xes, but they will be able to obtain higher-tier heroes that were not available in Free Recruitment. Furthermore, heroes obtained through Premium Recruitment will be acquired in an "Unbound" state. A future update will allow users to transfer them to DESPERADO B218 using additional items. We hope users look forward to it.

 DESPERADO B218 Transfer System

The DESPERADO B218 transfer system has garnered lots of curiosity and anticipation from many.

First, a feature that allows the transfer of "Unbound" heroes between Journey through Memory Lane and DESPERADO B218 will be updated in their respective [Hero Management] screen. However, there will be limitations when transferring heroes, such as the consumption of specific resources or the reset of character progression. Detailed information regarding these limitations will be provided in an upcoming update note.

In-game Purchases

As mentioned in a previous developer's note, we plan to introduce an in-app purchase system in Journey through Memory Lane with the July update.

Airship Theme System

We plan to add an airship theme system that allows users to change the background of the airship.

This is designed for users who want to personalize their airships, and each theme will be available for purchase using specific resources.

Other In-game Content

Lastly, in the July update, alongside the release of a new region, we plan to introduce the [Dock] feature, which allows users to quickly move characters between countries, and the [Story Archive] system, which allows users to revisit past stories. We hope the Story Archive system will allow users to enjoy Journey through Memory Lane's story once again, especially if users have unintentionally skipped or missed parts of the main story.

July Update Event

Liffy's 7 Days of Gifts

 We are preparing a 7-day gift event where users can obtain special rewards to commemorate the July update.

After the update, users can visit the village to obtain rewards through Liffy. Keep your eyes peeled for the event!

 Conclusion

As mentioned in the June update note, with this July update, most of the key features of Journey through Memory Lane will be open for exploration.

We understand that users have been waiting for updates as features were released sequentially after the release of Journey through Memory Lane, and we appreciate all users who have patiently awaited these updates.
